A Preliminary Analysis on the Impact of Ten-year Anti-terrorism to the US and World Politics

Al-Qaeda’s leader Bin Laden was shot dead by the USA on 1st May 2011,which symbolizes the end of the American ten-year anti-terrorism in a sense.This article tries to analyze the profound impact of anti-terrorism on the USA and world politics by comparison with anti-terrorist strategies adopted by the USA before and after the September 11th Event.The American anti-terrorism before the Event was mainly connected with some terrorism-supporting nations acclaimed by the USA.The Event also turns terrorism into the biggest threat to the state security of the USA.The Americans formulated anti-terrorist strategies and launched the Afghanistan War and the Iraq War.The American anti-terrorism paid huge economic price,causing more unrest in the Middle East and providing a historic opportunity for the rising of new developing countries.
