展览会演化阶段初探——以中国国际工业博览会为例

展览会已成为展示区域综合竞争力,吸引国外投资的重要平台。通过搜集中国国际工业博览会1999～2011年的资料,在借鉴传统产业集群演化过程的基础上,将以中国国际工业博览会为例的政府驱动型展览会划分为孕育期、成长期、成熟期、衰退期四个主要阶段。中国国际工业博览会正处在成长期向成熟期演变的重要阶段,进入衰退期的展览会并不是这一空间集聚的终结,而是其所属行业转型升级的一种表现。展览会由初期短暂存在的促进物品交易性平台,逐渐兼顾了链接不同集群间信息流动的重要媒介。

Probing into exhibition evolution phrase——take China international industry exposition as example

Trade fairs have become the platform of demonstrating regional competitiveness and attracting FDI.On the references of traditional industry clusters and collecting information of China International Industry Fair from 1999 to 2011,we divide CIIF which is a government-driven trade fair into four evolutions of embryonic stage,growth stage,maturity stage and decay stage.China International Industry Fair is on the phase from growth stage to maturity stage.It is a demonstration of industrial transition and upgrading instead of the terminating of spatial agglomeration when trade fairs get into the decay stage.Also trade fairs have the abilities of promoting commodity transaction at the beginning,and then gradually connecting the information flows among different industrial clusters.
