| 摘 要： | 长江三角洲，富庶繁华之乡，钟灵毓秀之地。为了清晰地把握住长三角地区16个城市经济发展的主脉络，文中透过2006年中国长三角地区16个城市的9项国民经济主要指标，使用主成分分析的方法，以95．7％的精度用两个新指标来代替原来的9个指标，再利用两个主成分给出了长三角地区16个城市的综合经济实力的排序，最后分析长三角地区国民经济发展状况并提出针对性建议。

| Abstract: | To analyze the economic development of Yangtze Delta, the principal component analysis is discussed in this paper. We reduce the dimensionality of the data set from 9 to 2 dimensions and present a ranking of the 16 cities. At last, some suggestions in connection with the economic development of Yangtze Delta will be given. |
