| Abstract: | In September 2011, the Shanghai Gold Exchange （SGE） saw transactions with a total value of 500.080billion yuan, up 220% year-on-year. Gold was traded 940137.8 kilograms in SGE, up 92.53% year-on- year; the trading value of gold stood at 343.613 billion yuan, up 155.09% year-on-year; and its daily average turnover was 44768.47 kilograms.
