The Study of the Optimal Match Ratio between Product Function and Cost Based on the Value Engineering Analytical Method

The optimal match ratio between product function and cost is the ideal state that the consumers and producers pursue. Whether this ideal state can be achieved, how will it be achieved？ For these two questions, this paper introduced value engineering analytical method for analysis and confirmation, and it came to this conclusion： the optimal ratio between product function and cost is not only existent, but the optimal balance point also can be found out by analysis, which provides the scientific foundation of controlling the cost under the premise of meeting the necessary functions of products.
