Development of Nuclear Power in the World and Its Enlightenment to China

While reviewing the development of the nuclear power capacity, technology and policies of China, as well as the prospects of future nuclear power development, this study elaborates on the technology development of the nuclear power in the world, together with the current facts of nuclear power in major nuclear countries. The route of global nuclear power development as summarized in the paper indicates that close attention to nuclear power safety, scientific and rational development strategies, and advanced standardization of nuclear power technology are essential for the effective development of nuclear power.
