Effects of Bupi Yiqi Decoction Combined with Epirubicin and Cyclophosphamide on Patients with Breast Cancer

Objective To explore the efficacy of Bupi Yiqi Decoction combined with epirubicin and cyclophosphamide in the treatment of patients with breast cancer.Methods A total of 74 breast cancer patients who were hospitalized from March 2019 to March 2020 in the Department of Oncology of Huludao Central Hospital were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into a Western medicine group and a combined group,with 37 cases in each group.Patients in the Western medicine group were given 60 mg/m²epirubicin injection+600 mg/m²cyclophosphamide injection+5%glucose injection 500 ml intravenously,and the combination group was given chemotherapy drugs(the specific medication and methods were the same Western medicine group)combined with Bupi Yiqi Decoction.The cancer-related fatigue score,anxiety and depression,sleep quality and the incidence of complications after treatment were compared between the 2 groups before and after treatment.The cancer-related fatigue score,anxiety and depression,sleep quality and the incidence of complications after treatment were compared between the 2 groups before and after treatment.Results After treatment,the cancer-related fatigue score,anxiety and depression score,and Pittsburgh sleep quality score of the Western medicine treatment group and the combination treatment group were all reduced compared with those before treatment.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the complication rate of the Western medicine treatment group was 40.54%,and the complication rate of the combination treatment group was 10.81%,which was significantly lower than that of the Western medicine treatment group(P<0.05).Conclusion Bupi Yiqi Decoction combined with epirubicin and cyclophosphamide has the effects of improving nerve excitability,promoting the release of endocatin,increasing patient energy,improving cancer-related fatigue and bad mood of patients after breast cancer surgery in the middle and late stages,and reducing the occurrence of adverse reactions such as postoperative upper limb swelling and subcutaneous fluid accumulation.
