| Abstract: | Sexist discrimination penetrates all aspects of social life,including language.This paper,from the feminist perspective,analyzes the sexist discrimination reflected in English proverbs.And then it attempts to probe into the causes of sexist discrimination from the sociolinguistic perspective. |
