The overall evaluation of Jehol Biota fossil resources in west Liaoning is that most fossils in the area are appropriate for the tourism development and utilization. The spot of the fossil-producing area is not convenient for the tourists; however, it is easy for the tourists to go to the fossil museums. Therefore, it is important to make it easier for the tourists to arrive at the fossil-producing area. The layout of Liaoning fossil museum is not quite reasonable, as tourists have found it inconvenient to get there.
