A tentative exploration on the strategy for downtown streets design

Major concerns of current urban design are Suburbanization of cities and desertification of streets.In order to avoid regress of downtown areas and build dynamic streets,thus improving the quality of public space,the existing technology-oriented street design should be substituted by urbanism strategy.Only in this way can the street space serve as a community-based space of civil life.
