Comparative research on time-dependent deformation in prestressed concrete members |

| Abstract: | The mixer design of common high strength concrete (HSC50) and high performance concrete (HPC50) are carried out and their mechanics characteristics are tested, then a bundle of prestressed concrete T-beams which were constructed with HSC50 and HPC50 are designed to compare their time-dependent deformations due to shrinkage & creep. The simplified formulae considering the contribution of steel are put forward to analyze shrinkage and creep effect in prestressed concrete beams, and the theoretical values find agreeable with the experimental results. |
