Abstract:The integration of the EU-member countries continues. An important step of this process was the introduction of the common currency, the Euro coins and bank notes in year 2002. During a time of incidents and events last year, Swedes made up their minds and declined the Euro favouring the Swedish krona in the referendum on 14 September 2003. This is a story about a small EU-member state that still needs time to integrate.
