中国羊绒产业经历了40多年的发展历程，已经从第一羊绒资源大国逐渐发展成为世界羊绒生产、加工、销售和消费第一大国。但中国羊绒产业缺乏优势资源的整合，在资源布局、技术创新、出口战略、品牌创新等方面各自为政，尚未实现资金、产能、技术、人力、客户资源等方面的互补共享，难于形成特色资源的整合优势，从而不能以完整的产业链整体参与国际市场的竞争。
