对民族地区旅游英语教学中民族文化教育的思考

近年来内蒙古旅游业发展蒸蒸日上,培养具有较强地中英双语交际能力地旅游英语专业人才成为必然的趋势。外语教学的根本目的也是在实施一种文化教育,要结合语言特点赋予其丰富的语言文化信息,才能更好促进外语学习的成效。高校相对关注外语语言能力地教学而忽略了民族地区文化教育。从而导致相当一部分旅游从业人员无法正确地向外国旅客介绍民族文化。本文探讨了对旅游英语专业实施民族文化教育的必要性,如何进行教育及教学中应该注意地几点问题。

Thoughts on the Ethnic Culture Education in Tourism English Teaching in Ethnic Regions

In recent years Inner Mongolia tourism industry is developing rapid and it is the necessary trend to cultivate tourism English talents with strong Chinese-English bilingual communicative competence.The aim of foreign language teaching is to implement the culture education.It should combine to the abundant language and culture information processed in linguistic features so as to better promote the achievements of foreign language learning.Since much attentions have been paid to the linguistic competence teaching and the culture education of ethnic regions have been ignored,quite a few tour guides can not introduce ethnic culture accurately to foreign tourists.This paper discusses the necessity of implementing ethnic culture education to tourism English majors and how to carry out education and teaching.
