Analysis of the Main Trends of FDI of Developed Countries in the Near future

After a decline in the early 2000s,FDI flows have been rising continuously since 2003.This in- crease is motivated by global economic growth,increased profits of multinational companies and across-border M&As.Developed countries still play as the main motivating force from the absolute values of FDI flows,though their importance tends to decline.This paper will analyze the main trends of FDI of developed countries in the near future combining the World Investment Prospect 2007-2009 publicized by UNCTAD.
