In response to the national strategy of strengthening the country with intellectual property rights and actively developing geographical indications, not only can it promote regional economic development, but it is also an important starting point for rural revitalization. Taking Dali Prefecture in Yunnan Province as an example to explore ways to promote the development of geographical indications and help rural revitalization.The connotation and characteristics of geographical indications are explained, and then combined with the reality of Dali Prefecture, the status quo of the development of geographical indications in Dali Prefecture is summarized, and the geographical indications of Dali Prefecture are summarized. Problems in the development process of signs, and finally put forward countermeasures and suggestions to develop geographical signs and promote rural revitalization in response to the problems.
