Social and Economic Effects of Peasants "Leaving Home"from 1920s to 1930s

The article generalizes the social and economic effects of peasants"leaving home"by taking 1920's and 1930's as the background. It thinks that the phenomena of "leaving home" resulted from the rural economic recession. The most peasants "leaving home" affect hugely the rural society and economy. The running off of strong labors not only weakened productive forces, but lost the fundamental power to improve the rural economy. It aggravated the phenomena of the land lying waste and there being land but no gains. Though the peasants "leaving home" did a little use to rural society and economy in general, the active effects are unworthy of mentioning.
