新经济地理学理论与实证研究综述

新经济地理学模型主要包括核心—边缘模型、城市演化模型和集聚与贸易模型,并且已发展成为均衡框架中解释经济地理驱动力量的重要理论之一。文章认为,新经济地理模型的局限性是过分依赖于迪克西特—斯蒂格利茨垄断竞争、替代弹性效用函数和冰山运输成本等假设条件,大量运用抽象数学模型,缺乏实证检验。随着空间经济理论的发展与完善,新经济地理学模型理论与实证方面的研究会不断取得新进展。

Analysis and Criticism of NEG

NEG models include core-periphery model,regional and urban system model,and agglomeration and trade model,and have been the important theory in explaining the driving forces of economic geography with equilibrium.The NEG models adopt the Dixit-Stiglitz monopolistic competition with iceberg transport costs,use large abstract mathmatics,and lack in empirical studies.With the development of the spatial economics,NEG models make great achievements in theory and experiment.
