近年来，残疾人旅游在国际上受到了越来越多的关注．少部分的发达地区或国家如北美、北欧和澳大利亚等在发展残疾人旅游上取得了一定的进展，特别是美国的残疾人旅游已形成较大规模，走在世界的前列．介绍了美国发展残疾人旅游的成功经验——包括在保护残疾人旅游权利方面进行立法、努力改善旅游设麓使其对残疾人无障碍、丰富无障碍旅游信息和建立专业的残疾人旅游机构等，并得出了一些促进中国残疾人旅游发展的启示。

Successful Experience from America and its Inspiration on the Development of Tourism for People with Disabilities

In recent years, tourism for people with disabilities are gaining more and more attention worldwide, great progress in this field has been made in some developed areas and countries such as the North America, the North Europe and Australia . Tourism for persons with disabilities in the U. S which had come into a comparatively large scale stands in the forefront in the world. This paper summarizes the successful experience from the US such as legislating to protect the legal right of travellers with disabilities,improving the accessibility of the tourism accommodation,enriching the information on barrier--free tourism and establishing professional in tourism for people with disabilities, then puts forward several suggestions for boosting the tourism for people with disabilities in China.
