新生代农民工金融服务需求亟待关注

2010年中央"1号文件"首次提出"新生代农民工"概念。据有关资料显示:全国新生代农民工已达1亿,占全部农民工的60%。陕西省渭南市是经济、金融欠发达地区,外出务工已成为农民增收的主要手段,每年有近100万人外出务工,其中绝大多数为新生代农民工。据对全市1000名新生代农民工问卷调查情况反映,由于生活环境、文化层次、消费理念等差异,新生代农民工的金融需求与其父辈相比发生了根本性的变化,同时,新生代农民工的特点决定其获得金融服务的难度也在加大,本文对此进行了分析并提出相关建议。

Financial Services Requirements from New Generation of Peasant Workers Deserve Attention

The concept of ’Peasant Workers’ was first proposed by the State Council Document -1.Related data show that the number of Peasant Workers in China has amounted to 100 million,accounting for 60% of all peasants.Going out of the countryside has become a key means of increasing income for peasants in the underdeveloped regions such as Weinan City.There are nearly 1 million people going out of the countryside each year in Weinan,among which the vast majority are new generation of peasant workers.According to the data provided by the questionnaire distributed to 1 thousand new generation of peasant workers,their financial demand has changed fundamentally compared with their fathers(the first generation of peasant workers).However,the characteristics of their work are increasingly restricting their access to financial services.
