| Abstract: | In this essay,the author analyzes the developments of trade protectionist theories and policies in western industrialized countries in different historical periods,summarizes the regularities and prospect of trade protectionism,and concludes that trade protection is still the focus of the trade policies in every country under the circumstance of economic globalization.The author further examines the characteristics and prospect of the new trade protectionism,and the implications for our country to practicipate in the international economy and trade. |
