Science and Technology Impact on Food Safety Management and Strategy to Improve

Food safety has become the focus and public topic of Chinese people＇ s lives. The importance of food safety has risen to national political level. How to improve food safety is the common responsibility of government regulators and scientific community. Only by strengthening food safety management and pushing the integration of biology and information technology, can we improve the level of food safety risk assessment, standards and test technology, and traceability, advance warning and control technology. By building a global network of food systems including assessment model, traceability system and advance warning, we focus on the study, test and supervision of food safety, and the investigation and management of food safety crisis to attain a goal of technology making food safer.
