近代中国的外债及其历史经验与教训

从1840年鸦片战争到1949年中华人民共和国成立,近代一百余年间,外国列强通过各种不平等条约对中国进行了扩张性、掠夺性的资本侵略,其中外债作为资本侵略的重要手段,它一方面促进了封建社会的解体,推动了中国的近代化进程;另一方面又加深了中国的殖民化,阻碍了中国民族资本的发展。总结和研究中国近代借用外债的结果成败及其经验教训,可以使我们在过去的历史中得到启发,这对于我国今天的利用外资具有一定的鉴戒意义
