Problems and Countermeasures of Animal Husbandry Insurance Development in Inner Mongolia

The definition and function of animal husbandry insurance were introduced. Secondly, the development status of animal husbandry insurance in Inner Mongolia was briefly described. The main problems faced by the development of animal husbandry insurance in Inner Mongolia were pointed out, such as the imperfect laws and regulations of animal husbandry insurance, the low enthusiasm of farmers in insurance, the lack of effective risk dispersion mechanism and the imperfection of claim settlement process. Finally, some suggestions are given to improve the animal husbandry insurance laws and regulations, enhance farmers'' insurance awareness, establish an effective risk dispersion mechanism, and standardize the claim process.
