The prime significance of humanistic quality education in vocational colleges is to lead them to become spiritual adults. Higher vocational education should not only equip the students with excellent professional skills, but also help them to become spiritually mature. First, only when they voluntarily pur- sue spiritual maturity through acquiring humanistic knowledge, so called manners, ways and methods of learning can be a practical path to formative education of humanistic quality. Second, opening an educational channel for humanistic quality to lead students to increase life wisdom while learning professional skills has a great significance to vocational colleges which focus on skill training. When teaching humanistic knowl- edge, teachers should pay more attention to cultivate students ability of effective thinking, communication and judgment, thus sparking their wisdom and improving quality of their lives.
