通常情况下，我们将价格低于30元的白酒称为低档白酒，30—100元的称作中档白酒，高于100元的为高档白酒。按照这个划分标准，放眼整个白酒行业，跻身高档白酒阵营的产品多如恒河沙数：即便一些名不见经传的小酒厂，拿一两款从瓶型到外盒再到手提袋都堪称豪华的高档产品出来也并非难事。如此看来，高档白酒鱼龙混杂，如同时下动辄就称著名影星、歌星、艺术家之流，其真实水准实在值得怀疑；也如同现在的美女称谓，但凡只要是女的都可以称为美女。如此看来，某些号称高档的白酒，除了徒有其表外，其内在品质恐怕难以恭维。
