Analysis on Application of the Balanced Score Card in the Performance Evaluation for Power Grid Enterprises in China

Establishing an appropriate performance evaluation system and a strategic management system according to the strategic and business objectives of power grid enterprises in China is an important measure in strengthening the strategic management and promoting the sustainable development. With sufficient consideration given to the key business objectives of the grid enterprise, this paper probes into the function of the balanced score card in the performance evaluation for power grid enterprises. On this basis, it proposes the key steps for power grid companies to implement the balanced score card and finally establishes 4 key evaluation factors in terms of financial management, clients, internal processes and learning and growing.
