恩格尔系数改进模型回归分析

恩格尔系数是衡量民众生活水平和经济发展程度的统计指标之一。在当前我国经济和社会发展条件下应用恩格尔系数存在局限性。利用我国31个省市的横截面数据建立的修正后的恩格尔系数回归模型所得出的恩格尔系数计算式,能更好地衡量居民生活水平和质量;计算部分农村省市修正后的恩格尔系数,能为政府工作人员制定发展政策提供理论依据。

Regress analysis on the amelioration model of Engel Coefficient

Based on the history of the Engel Coefficient and the Engel's law,the thesis analyses the Engel Coefficient and points out that under the current environment of economy and the society,there exists some flaws in the application of the Engel Coefficient.Then based on the consumption theory and the data of our 31 provinces and cities in main land,the thesis draws some useful factors with economic meaning by factor analysis to form a new amelioration model of Engel Coefficient to measure the living standard of residents.It is proved that comparing to the Engel Coefficient,the new Engel Coefficient can do good work of measuring the living level and quality of the residents and can be used by our government to develop new strategy.
