Motivation and performance of Chinese corporate social responsibility strategy choice

摘    要:The motivation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy and its effect on corporate performance are identified. The main factors influencing CSR strategy choice in China are the recognition of CSR and the importance of CSR in corporate strategy and the centrality of decision-making, and CSR exerts its main effect on the performance of businesses through influencing their competitiveness.
