The Tradeoff between Government and Market: A Comparative Analysis

This paper mainly focuses on the tradeoff between government and market from a comparative perspective. The government and the market have their relative advantages respectively, so there exists a tradeoff between them. The roles of the government and the market are different in different development stages. Our analysis shows that the governments of LDCs play a more important role than those of DCs.
