人力资本、技术采用与产业结构升级

产业结构水平较低、升级缓慢的背后是技术水平较低、进步缓慢。由于劳动力市场存在搜寻成本,使得厂商的技术采用和劳动力的人力资本投资之间存在互补性,这在一定条件下会导致多重均衡。本文对这一机制进行了刻画,并利用省级面板数据证实了人力资本投资对技术进步的促进作用。本文认为,中国产业结构水平较低、升级缓慢的根本原因是我国劳动力绝对数量较大和相对素质较差,使得我国陷入低技术均衡。

Human Capital, Technological Adoption and Industrial Upgrade

The secrets behind inadequate industrial structure and its slow upgrade are backward technology and slow progress.
