East Asian area has already held the whole world's attention nowadays.All of these have become the most remarkable feature in the restructuring of world order in 21 century,which is the rapid rise of East Asian area.During this process,the regional economy of East Asia has experienced continuous integration along with its rapid development,and regional economic cooperation has already become the primary trend that could be anticipated.At this favorable moment with challenging opportunities,Jilin,the inland frontier province functioning as a trade thoroughfare connecting China and East Asia,should find ways to fully use the advantages and avoid disadvantages,seize every new possibility favorable for its development,and better integrate into East Asia and the world economy for cooperation and competition.These should be the problems to be studied in order to formulate the economic development strategies for Jilin in the tide of economic globalization.
