半导体领域跨国公司专利分布与中国企业的应对策略

文章以半导体领域18家典型跨国公司为样本,对其1985—2008年间半导体技术领域发明专利申请情况进行统计分析,测算其专利申请集中度指数、子技术领域的竞争力指数及分散化指数,测度结果显示跨国企业依据自身特点采取的是不同的专利申请战略,总体而言申请主要集中于制造和零部件生产等技术领域,中国企业面临强大的技术壁垒。通过对跨国公司专利布局的深入分析,有助于中国企业借鉴成功经验制定有针对性的应对策略。

The Distribution of Patent Applications of International Corporates in Semiconductor Industry and Counter-strategies for Chinese Companies

This paper takes 18 classic international corporate manufacturers of samiconductors as simple and analyze statistical data regarding their patent applications in the area of semi-conductor technology over the period of 1985—2008.Next,we calculate the concentration index,the competitive index and the distribution index of patent applications.The result shows that different international corporates have different application strategies,overall they focus on filing patents on the fields of manufacture and accessory,chinese enterprises are facing a huge technical barriers.By analysis of the international corporates＇ application strategies,we intend to use the outcome of our analysis as a foundation for proposing relevant counter-strategies for Chinese companies.
