明清江南市镇与农村关系史研究概说

有关江南市镇的研究一向是明清社会经济史关注的热点，而从城乡关系的角度透视江南地方社会的讨论则显得比较薄弱。本文回顾了以往大陆、港台和海外学者研究明清江南市镇与农村关系史的主要脉络和学术取向，并对城乡界线及其运作机制等前沿问题作了必要的思考。

The Introduction of the Researches on the Township- village Relationship in Ming- Qing Jiangnan

The research on Jiangnan townships is always the focus of the socioeconomic history of the Ming and Qing period, but only little attention was put to the local societies of Jiangnan from the perspective of township-village relationship. This paper reviews the basic frameworks and academic trends of the previous researches on the township-village relationship in Ming-Qing Jiangnan by the scholars in mainland China, Hongkong, Taiwan, and foreign countries, and considers some pioneer questions, such as the border between townships and villages, and its working mechanism, and so on.
