| Abstract: | Chinese animate sentences （CAS） and English inanimate sentences （EIS） are two kinds of typical sentence pattern in both Chinese and English languages. This paper is to analyze the main causes of two different sentence patterns （CAS and EIS） through a contrast of mental modes and sentences structures. |
