| Abstract: | Based on the contrastive analysis of the translation of ancient famous poetry and allusion,this paper illustrates the three principles in the English translation of ancient poetry: expressiveness,emotionality,vividness.Only when the translator fully understands the deep meaning of the ancient Chinese story and has relevant historical culture background knowledge,can he accurately converts from the source language and target language. |
