明代宗教法律制度

有明一代鉴于元代对宗教特别是佛教的法治管理的宽缓造成的后果，在佛教僧官的设置与管理、寺院的管理、僧侣的管理等各方面制定了严格的法律法规。然而，明王朝的以压制为主的宗教法律制度并没有达到预期的效果。一方面，佛教在这种压制下失去了其特有的义理活力，而走向以民间迷信为神灵信仰；另一方面，依附于佛教的各种民间宗教在明中后期异常活跃并成为最后推翻明朝的有生力量明朝的宗教法制之得失对今天如何处理法律与宗教信仰的关系仍有重要意义。

Religious Law in Ming Dynasity

Concerning the overthrowing of Yuan dynasty by the religious rebellion for its political strategy and legal institution, governors of Ming Dynasty stressed their controlling on religion whatever to the believers or to the administrations of temples . However, they failed, religious rebellions still thrive in the end of Ming. Form which, it draws lessons about how to deal with the religion and it does make sense for us to solve the problem of law and religion today.
