经济增长的总体效率与空间平等：基于区域互动视角的研究

如何处理好经济增长的总体效率与空间平等的关系是我国经济发展中的重大战略问题。本文建立的向量自回归模型的模拟结果显示:东部的经济增长能带动中西部,有利于全国总体经济增长,但会拉大地区差距。中部的崛起对西部的带动作用不如东部强,但有助于区域差距的缩小。西部的经济增长对东中部的影响甚微。尽管经济增长的总体效率与空间平等存在一定的替代关系,但只要制定适宜的区域政策,仍可通过区域互动,在保持总体经济较高增速的同时,抑制乃至缩小地区差距,形成区域经济的协调发展。

Growth Efficiency and Regional Equality: An Analysis from the Perspective of Regional Interaction

This paper applies a VAR model to analyze the relation between growth and inequality from the perspective of regional interaction.The results show that a chock to the coastal has spillovers to the other two regions so benefits the national growth but enlarges regional disparities;the central also has spillovers to the western which is not so strong as the coastal but reduces the disparities;a shock to the western has little effects on the other two regions.Although there is a trade-off between national growth and regional equality,it is possible to keep a relatively high growth rate of the whole country and decreases the disparities between regions at the same time by appropriate regional development policy.
