中国外汇储备适度规模的实证分析

本文基于潜在对外贸易冲击和资本流动冲击两个视角,分别对两种潜在冲击下的最优外汇储备需求进行实证分析,这种综合考虑是一种新的尝试。尤其是对潜在资本流动冲击下的外汇储备需求本文提供了一定的理论基础,通过构造一个二期模型发现,影响最优外汇储备需求的因素为发生资本流动冲击的概率、资本流动冲击下的产出损失、经济体的短期外债数量以及代表性消费者的风险厌恶程度。最后,在本文框架下,计算结果显示2006年我国实际外汇储备已明显过剩。

The Empirical Analysis for the Modest Foreign Exchange Reserves of China

The paper considers the influences for the demand of foreign exchange reserves caused by the potential foreign trade attacking and short-term debt attacking,and analyzes the demand of foreign exchange reserves separately. Especially the paper provides a new method to analyze the demand of foreign exchange reserves caused by the short-term debt attacking. according to the paper we can find the foreign exchange reserves is obviously superfluous.
