Trade Supervision Adjustment in 2012

China revised its supervision policies on import and export trades again,with 13 notices approved by related government ministries and administrations as well as 15 catalogues of import and export licenses being involved.The main adjustments in import supervision are:corn distillers’ dried grains shall be listed in the automatically administrated imports;the automatic import licensing procedures shall apply to the olive oil;the goods of 19 tax numbers under the "steel" item shall be excluded from the automatic import licensing procedures.The main adjustments in export supervision are:the heavy and light rare earths shall be administrated separately in export quotas;the export licenses for dualuse items and technologies shall apply to anaerobic chambers and some other goods;Vitamin C shall be subject to the export licensing administration;the import and export inspection and quarantine supervision shall be added to the HS codes of some food additives that have relevant inspection standards;the import and export inspection and quarantine supervision shall be added to the relevant HS codes of some dangerous chemicals.There are other adjustments which may affect the foreign traders’ businesses.This report will give guidance to those who want to know more.
