行业绩效决定因素的实证研究:截面数据分析

本文依据相关的理论,选取若干重要的变量,利用168个细分行业的数据资料对影响制造业行业绩效的决定因素进行详细的实证研究。截面数据的回归结果表明,市场集中度、地区集中度、所有权结构以及进入壁垒基本决定了行业的绩效表现,而资本密集度对行业绩效的作用并不明显。在行业绩效关系上,市场集中度、私营企业资产比重、外资企业资产比重以及技术壁垒与行业盈利水平呈正向联系,而地区集中度、国有企业资产比重以及相对资产规模与行业盈利水平呈反向联系。

An Empirical Study of Determinants of Industry Performance: Analysis Based on Cross-Sectional Dataset

Based on 168 industry data we carried out a detailed empirical study to disclose the determinants of manufacturing performance. The results indicate that market concentration、regional concentration 、ownership structure and entry barriers de-termine the performance of individual industry, but capital intensity has insignificant effect on industry performance. Market concentration、 percentage of private-owned enterprise's assets、 percentage of foreign-owned enterprise's assets and technology barrier have positive relationship with industry profitability. Regional concentration、 percentage of state-owned enterprise's as-sets and relative scale have negative relationship with industry profitability.
