| 摘 要： | 汉字作为表意文字 ,其构形与表意密切相关 ,是一种“望文生义”、“形入心通”的平面文字。英文则属音素文字范畴 ,以表意为主 ,它形不写意而写音 ,是一种“听音辨义”、“意入心通”的线性文字 ,但也偶有例外 ,英文字母除拼合组词外 ,有时也会具有一定的象形构词作用。

| Abstract: | Being closely related with the forms,Chinese characters,a sort of ideograph,are plain characters whose meanings are expressed by their forms.While in a linear writing of English letters,it is not the forms but the sound that expresses the meaning.However,there are some exceptions.Some English letters adopt not only the feature of forming words but that of pictograph. |
