In December 2019,the Shanghai Gold Exchange(SGE)saw transactions with a total value of 2,182.251 billion yuan,up 20.31%year-on-year.In December,gold was traded 4,343,168.72 kilograms in SGE,down 25.44%yearon-year;the trading value of gold stood at 1,448.518 billion yuan,down 10.6%year-on-year;and its average daily turnover was 197,416.76 kilograms.Platinum traded totalled 4,482 kilograms,up 14.05%year-on-year;the trading value of platinum was 0.96 billion yuan,up 28.79%year-on-year;and its average daily turnover was 203.73 kilograms.The trading volume of silver amounted to 176,176,006 kilograms,up 223.46%year-on-year;the trading value of silver reached 732.773 billion yuan,up 280.02%year-on-year,and its average daily turnover was 8,008,000 kilograms.
