| Abstract: | In December 2007, the Shanghai Gold Exchange （SGE） traded 196318.7 kilograms of gold, up 65.85% year--on--year. The trading value of gold stood at 37.444 billion yuan, increasing year-on-year by 95.50%. Platinum traded in December was 3238 kilograms, down 19.29% year-on-year. The trading value of platinum was 1.172 billion yuan, up 0.06% year-on-year. The trading volume of silver soared year-on-year by 1071.14% to 95.68 tons. The trading value of silver reached 341 million yuan, surging by 1027.16% year-on-year. |
