Jiao Xinde was born in 1966 into an old family renowned for its papercut art. As the third generation ofthe family business -- Jiao＇s Traditional Paper-Cut Art, Jiao is now a member of Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association and China Association of Papercut Art. He has also been honored as First Grade Artist of Paper-cut by Hebei Province, and has been elected as Standing Director of Paper-cut Professional Committee of Hebei Folklore Society.
