Design on Hydraulic Winch Automatic Tension Device of Long Distance Belt Conveyor

The paper analyzed the main functions of the tension device for the belt conveyor. Based on the detail study on the working principles of the long distance downward driving belt conveyor, the paper discussed the dynamic automatic tension in the starting and normal operation as well as the braking process and also analyzed the working principle and installation application of the automatic tension device for the hydraulic winch. The automatic tension device of the hydraulic winch has the advantages, such as the large tension stroke adjustment scope, accurately controlled tension and tension speed stably adjusted. The automatic tension device could be suitable for the auto tension of the long distance belt conveyor.
