土工袋技术及其应用前景

介绍土工袋加固地基的基本原理、基本特性及应用于房屋地基加固、路基加固、构筑挡墙与堤防等工程的实例和处理膨胀土等的应用前景。土工袋加固地基的原理在于利用了由于在外荷载作用下袋子周长的伸长而产生的袋子张力,袋子张力引起了袋内土体附加凝聚力。土工袋技术是一种环保型的加固地基技术,具有约束补强、减少地基沉降、减振及防冻融效果,有着广泛的应用前景。

Reinforcement mechanism of soilbags and its applications

In this paper,the mechanism and properties of soilbags are introduced.Some applications of soilbags in reinforcement of soft building and road foundations as well as in construction of embankment and retaining walls are presented.Some potential applications,such as reinforcing expansive soil,treating waterlogged soft clay and recycling rain water,are introduced.The reinforcement of soilbags is contributed by a tensile force that is produced due to the extension of the perimeter of soilbag under the application of external force,which thereafter induced an apparent cohesion.The reinforcement of soilbags is environmental-friendly and has effects of increasing foundation strength,reducing foundation settlement and traffic-induced vibration as well as preventing frost heave.It has become a very promising method for earth reinforcement.
