The Development Status and Normative Evaluation of Exploratory Case Studies on Business Administration in China

In view of the strong practice and application of business administration,the domestic academic circles have reached a broad consensus on carrying out academic research integrating theoretical contribution and application values.As a scientific research based on situational management practices,the exploratory case study is one of the key ways to do the research in question.Due to the limited time of the introduction of business administration in China,the accurate understanding and mastery of this method has yet to be an important basis for making high-level case studies.Firstly,this paper systematically combs the relevant papers and academic materials published from 2010 to 2019,takes root in the normative characteristics that China’s high-level case studies should have,focuses on the overall development status and normative level of exploratory case studies of business administration at the present stage,and makes an in-depth analysis on the key issues.Then,this paper compares its similarities and differences of the orchestration specification with the quantitative research,and expounds the characteristics and internal logic of the case study.Finally,it provides some reference suggestions for domestic scholars to make high-level case studies,in order to help the healthy development of academic research in business administration.
