改善民生与建设有中国特色的福利国家

改革开放30多年的建设发展,我国广大城乡居民的社会福利状况得到了极大的改善,但基本公共福利的供给不足,广大城乡居民在基本公共福利的享用上还存在较大差别。而福利国家居民的基本公共福利保障都被纳入社会保护制度的覆盖范围,达到了真正意义上的"广覆盖"。坚持社会主义基本原则和方向,不断改革,积极借鉴福利国家的有益经验,建设有中国特色的社会主义福利国家,应是我国解决当前社会经济矛盾,实现社会发展战略目标的内容指向。
