Effect of Lecithin Tablets on Mental Function and Language Function in Convalescent Stroke Patients in the Recovery Period

Objective To explore the effects of lecithin tablets on the mental and language functions of patients with stroke recovery. Methods A total of 130 patients with stroke in convalescent period in the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the research objects, and were randomly divided into 2 groups, with 65 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional treatment, while the observation group was given lecithin tablets plus conventional treatment. The improvement of mental state, language function and triglyceride(TG), total cholesterol(TC), high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) were compared between the 2 groups. Results After 12 weeks of treatment, the scores of consciousness, language, convulsion and ophthalmopathy of the 2 groups were lowered, and the observation group was lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);after treatment, the TG, TC, LDL-C of the 2 group were lowered. The observation group was lower than the control group, the HDL-C of the 2 groups increased, and HDL-C in the observation group was higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Lecithin tablets can improve the mental and language functions of patients in the convalescent stage of stroke, while regulating blood lipids.
